Privacy Policy

• Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in via a passwordless magic link. We do not collect a password, phone number, or name.
• Dream journal content. The dreams you write — title, body text, date, mood, vividness rating, tags, notes, and any reflections or interpretations generated for you — is stored so your journal is available across sessions and devices.
• AI-generated memory images. If you request a memory image for a dream, the dream text is sent to our AI image provider to generate an image, which is then stored in your private journal.
• Explore favorites. If you favorite an entry in Explore (our curated collection of historical dreams), we store which entries you've favorited. Explore content itself is editorial and not user-generated.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.

• To operate your journal: storing, retrieving, and syncing your dreams and notes.
• To generate AI reflections and memory images you request, by sending the relevant dream text to our AI provider for that specific request only.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To detect your preferred language from your device or browser settings, so Explore content is shown in that language. We do not store this preference separately from your device's own settings.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

• A cloud database and authentication provider. Your account and journal data are stored securely on this provider's infrastructure.
• An AI service provider. Used to generate dream reflections and AI images. Only the specific dream text needed for a request you make is sent, solely to fulfill that request.

We do not use any other third-party processors today — no analytics, no advertising networks, no crash reporting or push notification services.

Your journal is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your dreams, notes, AI-generated images, and account record — this cannot be undone.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Your journal entries are private by default and only accessible to you.

Atlani is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

As Atlani grows out of its private alpha, this policy may be updated to reflect new features. We'll update the effective date above when that happens.
